“     As a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist Ashley has been making people beautiful for almost ten years. She attended The Salon Professional Academy in New York in 2009. Ashley became a Redken Certified Colorist in 2011, showcasing her understanding of color theory and application. Ashley also works with the color lines like Matrix, Wella, Pulp Riot and Pravana. She stays current by continuing her education through classes, trade shows, certifications, and facilitating classes of her own. She is certified in Babe Extensions. Ashley co owns Oak & Iron, with Jessica Fox. Oak & Iron is a full service salon and tattoo shop located at 176 Franklin St Buffalo NY 14202.

     Ashley has always loved makeup. She has worked backstage at Fashion Week partnering with designers to bring their visions to life. She also works behind the camera for photoshoots, tv and film. Ashley loves bridal hair and makeup, creating one of a kind looks for brides and their bridal parties. In 2017, Ashley was a chosen finalist to compete at IMATs in Toronto for the Battle of the Brushes, Beauty/Fantasy category. Over the last ten years, she has showcased her work in multiple published magazines and newspapers. In 2017 she is graduated from the Make-up Designory in Burbank California for their Multi-Media Make up Artist program, specializing in everything from everyday makeup to special FX creations.  

    Ashley is a Buffalo, New York native who spent some time in Los Angeles, California, but came back to open up Oak & Iron in her hometown. She is currently taking clients at The Bellezza Salon location at 6728 Main St Willaimsville NY until her salon is ready to open!”
